Would it have taken him that much more work to build a full-scale one?

Ya know what's really cool? The dude still uses straightedges and pens and pencils. As a former draftsman from the old days, when CAD was in its infancy, that brings back some fond memories.
Oh, and the 1/3 Ferrari is pretty cool. Why couldn't my dad build me one of those when I was a kid.

That's some incredible dedication and craftsmanship. It even sounds so lovely. I'd love to know more about how he put that together.

How did he figure the right tension, etc, to make those little valve springs? If memory serves, the flat 12 was 4 valves per cylinder. That is some machining and assembly.
I would love to see that passion applied to an old Testa Rossa. That's incredible.

Wow...that is amazing. Shoot, I could barely build a model airplane without getting a little glue smeared on the canopy. I'm such a loser...
Cheers,

It sounds like he didn't make it totally to scale then, as he says in the interview that it has 12 cylinders and 24 valves. No matter, its an amazing piece of art.

Two things.
1) NO cage talk allowed in Pit Row.
2) When is Pedrosa going to drive it?
