Thinking of staying here a few days next summer.  Anyone been there?  What can you tell me?

The Richmond BMW Rally is held here. Not a bad place, really. The group camp area was nice, clean, and had a couple of restroom buildings. The other camping sites are what you would expect at a Park like this. Riding in and out you get you view of all types of folks camping: tents to campers to buses. It is about 10-15 minutes off the BRP and accesses lots of great roads in VA. There is a little store down the road for all your necessities from fuel to beer. There are a couple of lakes and some hiking trails.

This year's BMW rally was held right after Ernesto, the access road has small creek that floods over the road and is designed to serve as a concrete ford. Not bad if taken slowly, it gets very greasy with algae.
