Ed, Will you always be meeting in the middle of the day during the week? And how would a nonmilitary member get on base? Thanks

Zeakers,

Odds are that the meetings will continue to be during the week and on Dayshift.  This is largly due to the folks involved and that for most part they can make the meetings even if they are working that day.

Getting you on base is not impossible, but would be unlikely. But you can always keep on eye on the GK rides post  --- http://www.sport-touring.net/forums/index.php/topic,36039.0.html  -- and see when where we plan to ride.

Zeakers and other readers,  The Green Knights Military Motorcycle Club is a military club who's members are affiliated with the US military like; DoD civilians, those who are or have been in the military and  spouses or children of military members.  This is a National Club with a charter that directs who can be a member.  If you qualify for membership but don't have an ID card cause you got out, let me know and we will go from there.

Sorry if there was any confusion.  If you see me on a Yellow Ducati 1098 or a black Honda 919 in Dover, say hello!

the Green Knights website says "If you are a military, retired, DoD, or Military Contractor motorcycle rider". No mention of those of us that served and got out without retiring.  Do us shortimers count?

Do I get a bonus for making more takeoffs than landings in Air Force aircraft?  Bigsmile

1. There is NO such thing as a perfectly good Air Force aircraft  Lol

2. There have been a few pilots I'd like to have "punched out" .  Like the one based at Eglin AFB.  He dropped us 15 kliks from the drop zone and he LIVED there.  Crazy
