Hey folks.  Last year a few of us over at Stromtrooper.com decided to do a meet n greet on the same day. It made sense to head to Gr. Barrington and it turned out well.  I think most of the McDonalds lot was V-Stroms!  I've posted a link to this thread over there and we'll see what happens.  Chances are we'll meet up in GB.

As long as you don't get between my food and my mouth you ought to be okay.   Wink

Yes, thanks Dave (Sudzz), you guys were awesome last year.

Maybe someone from the New York group could organize a meeting spot out there.  You guys had a major presence the first year...it'll be great to have you back again.

I will be attending, pending nasty weather,  wifey will most likely go if its above 45 degrees.

As with last year  I can lead a small group 8 or less  from the shell station at the  JCT of rt 2 in orange .
pace will be  20 -25 over , pass on double yellow when safe to do so.

no guarantee, especially in the higher elevations.  Two years ago a number of us encountered snow and close to freezing temperatures going over Hogback Mountain in Vermont.  This was just a couple of weeks earlier than the date we have now.  Anything could happen and I would encourage people to plan accordingly.

No one has asked about a rain date, but in general I don't make them.  A lot of people have to make changes to work and family to make these events, so I'm not in favor of rescheduling the date.  If the weather is bad, I will likely show up with whoever else is foolhardy enough to be out.  If people want to reschedule something on their own another week, that is up to them.  Too often I've seen rides canceled early on chances of bad weather and the day turns out okay.

Last year we started out in the drizzle and it was still fairly cold.  By lunch time it had turned into a gorgeous day; warm and dry.
