Besides, I'd like to actually stop and see places this time around instead of trying to pull an Iron Butt the first day. Did 996 miles and only stopped because of a tornado warning.

The plan so far is to take my bike and MacGyver's side car rig so that the Super Munchkin can come along and play amateur videographer. If we're lucky we may be able to eek out 300 miles a day... We plan on stopping a lot for as many Roadside America oddities we can find along the way.
