I'm really tempted to jump on the one-piece suit and try it out. I'd have to unload some other gear to do that, though.

If you have been following Teiz Motorsports for the past few weeks, you may be wondering about all the changes on the website and product lineup. I think I need to take some time to explain our vision and what to expect from Teiz Motorsports.
Our specialty is (and will remain) riding suits. We now offer the following variations of our riding suit: i) Lombard - Textile ventilated one piece ii) Mojave - Textile mesh one piece iii) Alcatraz - Leather ventilated one piece iv) Diego - Leather mesh one piece v) Textile 2 piece ( 1 jacket option and 2 pants options) vi) Leather 2 piece ( 2 jacket options and 2 pants options) These products are our main focus and you will see updates/improvements on a continuous basis.
Along with these products, Teiz has introduced some accessories and jeans which are meant to complement these products. These new accessories are already established and proven products in international markets (under various brands).
Along with these accessories, Teiz Motorsports now also carries some very cool touring accessories including Blinc Bluetooth Helmets, Shad Luggage, Venture Heated Gear, Chatterbox Electronics, Adaptiv TPX Radar Detector and HelmetSecure Helmet Lock.
The above products along with Teiz accessories are being introduced for only one reason: To offer our customers a great way to save. When purchased with Teiz Motorsports riding gear, we will offer you incredible savings on your purchase
So don’t worry, we aren’t trying to dip our fingers into everything out there. We just cut back on gloves to ensure our focus stays on what we currently do well. All we are trying to do is ensure that you can get a good deal when you buy from us.

There are a LOT of companies out there making gloves at every quality level and price point. Dropping them to stick to your core products - it's a good move. Stick to what you do best, and stick to YOUR vision. Read "The Customer Comes Second" by Hal Rosenbluth. And LOTS of companies could take a lesson from you regarding being very much in touch with the customer base and keeping information flowing in both directions.

I'm thinking of getting an over suit for my commute. My commute is only 8 miles one way, but through Los Angeles city streets so the going is often pretty slow as I thread through traffic. It seems (given our normal lack of rain) that the Mojave mesh would be the best as least chance of getting sweaty in traffic. Ghazzi, I'm 150lbs, 5'9-5'10 wearing 30 waist/32 length jeans. To go over my dress shirt/pants would S or M be the correct size (and hopefully not ending up too wrinkled!).
Is there really a 6-8 week wait? Is it because you make them per order, or that's when the next batch show up?
Thanks!

chris - thanks for the appreciation and support
atadaskew- i would need more measurements to make a recommendation esp the chest size. You could use the Mojave or considering ordering a Diego which offers more protection with the same airflow. If an item is in stock then it will shipped in 2 business day. Otherwise the order is made part of the next batch which arrives every 6-8 weeks. Thanks

I'm liking the look of these, but I'm just a mutant; fitting is hard when you're tall with short stubby legs.

I just ordered a leather mesh jacket and pants from these guys. The guy I talked to was great on the phone and very patient. The jacket will be here soon but the pants will take a while. I will let you know how things look when they arrive. bete.

Ghazzi, my Lombard arrived today and it is missing the armour from the right knee. I called your customer service line and left the same message with the lady who answered. But just to cover my bases..
2 issues: 1/ The zipper to access the left knee armour pocket is separated. I will see if my g/f can re-attach the 2 pieces when I see her tonight. 2/ The plastic (PVC?) smell of the suit is pretty intense. Maybe I'm used to leather but it was a bit unexpected. I'm airing the suit out on my balcony so hopefully that will do the trick.
You were absolutely spot on with the sizing and I'm looking forward to trying this out tomorrow.

lemme know how hot that sucker is in the Calif. sunshine.
Will do. This thing has a lot of vents. Here's da ting.. I'm going to use this for my morning and evening commute when it normally is pretty cool. By the time the temps go up I'll be indoors at work. Weekends I use leathers.. eh, I'll wear it one day on the weekend as an experiment...

You're not suggesting these MidAtlantic humid-enough-to-swim-in-the-air days we get here in Summer might be a bit much for that suit, are you?

Well a quick update; Got my jacket allready, wow- like order one day get it the next. Anyway the jacket is very nice, really it's better than I was expecting, the leather is soft yet feels tough, the perforations are clean, not like a lot of jackets I looked at where half the holes were plugged with leather, the stitching looks great also, I went over this thing pretty close and not a tread out of place. Good old YKK zippers. The fit is spot on for me, I have long arms and normally have to have a tall but this jacket is fine. I will get some pics when the pants get here in a few weeks. Any way 2 big thumps up for this gear and the service. bete.
