That's what the Mojave full mesh suit is for.  Butt the reality is when it is that humid, you're hosed either way.

Humidity + heat = sweat + mesh gear + speed = evaporative cooling

As long as you stay hydrated and keep your electrolytes up it's awesome. Almost like air conditioning. It does kind of suck when you get to work soaking wet though.

Well a quick update; Got my jacket allready, wow- like order one day get it the next. Anyway the jacket is very nice, really it's better than I was expecting, the leather is soft yet feels tough, the perforations are clean, not like a lot of jackets I looked at where half the holes were plugged with leather, the stitching looks great also, I went over this thing pretty close and not a tread out of place. Good old YKK zippers.

Nice touch on the zippers  Thumbsup  I will often judge and entire piece just by what brand of zippers have been used. I feel that you can't get much better than YKK  Smile

Ghazzi, my Lombard arrived today and it is missing the armour from the right knee.  I called your customer service line and left the same message with the lady who answered.  But just to cover my bases..

1/ The zipper to access the left knee armour pocket is separated.  I will see if my g/f can re-attach the 2 pieces when I see her tonight.

Ghazzi called me back about an hour later to make sure that it was only the one piece that was missing, and said it would be shipped the next morning.
Very nice customer service!
And Zee fixed the zipper in a sec..

Question about getting lady's pants?

(getting into ladies pants is an entirely different matter)

My wife is having huge issues finding lady's riding pants.   Something about middle age, 3 children and a slowing metabolism.  (Married guys,  you know what I mean.)

She's 5'2, and if I mentioned her weight, she'd KILL me, and hunt down any of you who might as seen this post and kill you too.

Any chance of the Timoteo pant coming in something "short and round' shape.   Is the custom option viable?   How about the heated liner for these pant?   If I put her into some electric gear, with the heat up high, she's like a can't and will likely allow me to live.

Finally, any issues shipping into Canada?

Thanks,

No issues shipping to Canada.. HOWEVER.... for the pants she would definietly need to get a trial size and let us know what customizations she needs. That can be  problem for Canadian shipping, as we first send you the trial, then you send it back to us and then we send you your custom pants... And we dont mess with the import/export duties/tariffs in any direction ...

so in summary:
custom size is possible
we ship to canada
we have trial sizes that you can try out
in the USA, we send one trial size for free with custom orders. Cant do that for Canada. Import stuff is your responsibility in either direction.

I did not fully understand the question about the heated liner  Crazy

Can the heated liner also be customized?

I doublt clearing the border either way would be an issue.  Just use USPS because Fex ex and co charge outrageous fees.

She'd probablyy require something like the Large in the waist, and small in the length but with the large through the thighs.

Hi,
The heated liner we offer can not be customized.

We use USPS for all Canadian shipments, however you would have to pick up the charge in each direction because its definitely way more expensive than intra-US shipping.

from what you are saying, you probably want to try a large and then see how you want to shorten it up.

Sound like that would cause an issue with the knees of the pants being too close to her ankles.  This is what happened with her last pants, and now the issue has gotten worse.

Thanks.

Well but that would tell us how we want to customize that particular size. Probably decrease the inseam by several inches (which would make the knees fall in the right place).

folks here is an example of some of the custom work we can do. This is also why i suggest trial sizes to ensure proper fit

after - customized 2xl:

Ok, I've used my Lombard vented textile suit for 2 weeks now for commuting.
I'm 5'10", 150lbs, 30 waist 32 leg, and the size Small fits me perfectly.
Some background.  I bought this specifically as a commuting suit - about 20-25 minutes each way in LA traffic - to go over my business clothes.  I selected the Lombard as opposed to the full mesh Mojave as it is normally quite cool on the morning and evening commute (60 ish).  It gets much hotter during the day but I'm in the office then anyway.  The suit does come with a full length removable insulated liner which I removed as I'll never need that on my commute.
The suit is super easy to put on - takes maybe 45 seconds to be fully zippered up.  What is interesting is the main full length zipper has an inner fold over flap  as well as velcro pieces while the right leg ankle to crotch zipper does not.  It just has a single flap covering the zipper that is held down by three pieces of velcro.  How is this significant?  I can always feel a draft on my lower right leg where air is passing through the zipper.  It doesn't actually bother me - in fact it helps sweatiness but I can see this being an issue for people who ride in much colder conditions or possibly in rainy conditions.
Speaking of rain - I have not ridden in any, nor plan on doing so! When it rains in LA I'm in a car, as the drivers are bad enough as it is in the dry!  But, I'm not sure how well this suit would keep water out.  The fabric itself is water proof (judging by the way it gets really hot inside in 80 degree weather even with all the vents open if you're stopped - I wouldn't say sauna like, but close..)  but the zippers are where I'm concerned.  The ancillary zippers are kinda rubberized so maybe they'd be ok, but the two main zippers are just regular strong YKK zippers that are only protected by a double flap (for the left leg to neck zipper) and single flap (right leg).  Maybe the flaps are enough to hold out water if you line up the velcro perfectly?  Not sure, someone else will have to give first hand experience.
The venting is great in this suit, open everything up, avoid stop and go traffic in the heat and you'll be ok.  The armour seems really nice in the shoulders and elbows - hard backed with adjustable straps on the arms to ensure fit.  The back is 'just' a pad, which is ok and can be replaced with something else if need be.  The knee armour is harder to judge as in the riding position it seems to move out of place no matter how i adjust it.
The butt area is covered with a grippy texture, this seems to work well as it eliminates slipping around.
I've ridden with this suit on my Guzzi Le mans, Ducati St4s and Harley.  it fits great with all these riding positions.  The venting of course, works much better if your bike does not provide great wind protection!
As an oversuit used to go to work with everyday, I'd buy this suit again in a second.  It does everything that I want from it.  As a riding suit  for the weekends etc no way will this replace my leathers and a rain suit.  I guess this would apply to all over suits, no matter who makes them, but I'm not keen on the feeling of wearing a suit over clothes for a long ride.  I prefer the much closer fit of leathers (as well as the safer feel they give me), find that they feel more 'natural' and breathable, and just like to get out of my riding clothes at the end of the day, shower and put on clean regular clothes instead of walking around in an outfit that I've been 'breathing' in for the last 8 hours or so..
Anyway, I give the Teiz Lombard 2 thumbs up if used as a commuting suit.

Dissapointed in your review.

I was looking for the "I just rode innit and izz awezzome".  Lol

Thanks for the input, no doubt. I've been batting around the idea of one of these for a long time.

check out the Alcatraz and Diego suits that we have... They are leather versions of the Lombard suit.
Thanks for the feedback!

It's probably been answered, but do you get in this thing like an Aerostich? Meaning, does it have one full body length zipper?
