Ok folks,
We are in the final phases of start V3 production. Here is the latest from the drawing board:
The big news is the use of YKK zippers all over. All the vents are also YKK now. This has a huge impact on our costs but we will still make sure to keep the price of the suit very competitive. Other changes include but may not be limited to
• Added large thigh vents
• Added stretch panels on the shoulders
• New collar design which uses Velcro instead of buttons
The small shoulder vents (not to be confused with the chest vents) are gone. So are the small leg vents on the side (being replaced by the above mentioned thigh vents). The thigh pockets are also gone to make space for the vents.
The list of changes may be small but the impact is huge. With the upgraded materials and quality combined with our price points, this suit blows everything else out of the water.
A big thank you to all of you folks. All the changes and improvements have are possible because of you! We are revamping everything from our policies to our product lineup so please stay tuned. We will have a lot of awesome news coming your way in the next few months.
Oh and we are definitely planning to be at NY and Chicago IMS shows year in addition to San Mateo & Long Beach.
To save you some trouble here are the answers to the questions you probably want to ask:
Q: When will V3 be available?
A: In time for the IMS shows (Nov) but we will start taking pre-orders soon
Q: What will be the price for a V3 suit?
A: TBD.
Q: Will return customers get a discount?
A: Yes a quite significant discount.

I think I'm finally ready to bite the bullet on another one-piece.
I'll require custom sizing, so when you're set to take orders, count me in.

stay away from 1st and 2nd generation suits. They have horrible zippers and the zipper will break without any warning or stress. expect to spend $30 per zipper to replace it. count up the zippers...that's a lot of money if they all fail. otherwise it's a great suit! gen 3 will probably be perfect with new style zips.

Hello folks,
Great news! We are now accepting pre-orders for our new suits “Lombard V3”. The price is going to be $349 however if you pre-order by September 30th you can avail the special introductory price of $299.
If you are a current Cross Continent (V1) or Lombard (V2) owner, you can order the suit for just $199. This special offer is our way of showing appreciation to you guys who supported us when we were starting out. To avail this offer, simply place an order for the suit at regular price and we will issue a refund to reflect the discount. To make it easier, include information in the comments section about your previous order. If you have purchased the suit at a trade show, please mention that on the comments and fax us the receipt. As mentioned before, the suits use YKK zippers all over including all vents. Needless to say, this suit is going to seriously shake up the 1 piece market!
As of September 8th, we are scheduled to attend the IMS Motorcycle Shows in San Mateo, Long Beach, New York and Chicago. This schedule may change without notice. We will have plenty of suits and jackets in stock. So make sure to come by just to say hi and/or get a great deal on riding gear. If you want us to bring a certain piece of gear to the show for you (or reserve for you) please send us an email.
If you are interested in placing a custom order, visiting us at the shows is a great idea as we will have all trial sizes on hand and you can try the suits on a bike.
During the months of November & December we will also be available in Los Angeles and Bay Area via appointment to personally meet with you and discuss your riding needs. If you need details regarding this, please feel free to email or call us to setup an appointment.
Thanks

What a great offer. I may have to take you up on that seeing I crashed in my Lombard. It did everything it could.
Any women's sizing?

Are the instructions for custom sizing on the site? What would the cost be?
She's 5'7, 110 so it's not like you're going to need extra material..

Be extremely careful doing a custom job with this company. I have a custom Mojave suit that I can not wear and they will not do anything to correct it. Feel free to email me for details of my issues.

Some basic information about custom sizes are available here:
http://www.teizms.com/extra_info_pages.php?pages_id=3
Essentially, we can send you a trial size and you can tell us what customization you would need. It is not about requiring less/more material but rather that we have to make something to your exact specification hence the added costs.
I will post detailed information regarding Johns issue so that everyone can decide for themselves if we do or do not stand behind out products.
Thanks

I already have a size Small Lombard V2 suit, which I guess is the smallest you make.
For my gf, could she just put this suit on and then we see where it needs to be adjusted and make those measurements (obviously for a new suit, not this one)?
