Ive been riding Sport bikes for the past 30 years,,but time has taken its toll.10 months ago, I traded my CBR1000 for the Honda ST-1300. Looking forward to meeting other Sport Tour riders here in the Central NC area for some group rides.

Lovin' the weather, have had at least a small ride each weekend but one..

I ride the bike betwixt your past and present - love it much!

We'll have to get together with some others for a trip to the twisties just west of ya!

Wink Thanks again my friend, will be seeing you soon Im sure.
Spinalator, LOL, too funny post. Warm here in NC, Not in at least a month Brother. I ride everyday, rain or shine, just no snow.Snow or Ice on the roads,I take the ole truck. Today it was 18 degrees F,I suit up well, electric grips make all the difference. But,its not Canada thats fer sure.My wife is Canadian, our daughter lives up there. Two weeks from now, we are heading up there for her wedding.Gonna take the Car for this trip. Wink
BPG,Great to hear from you. I was hopeing I could get the chance to ride with a Blackbird Owner !  What an awesome bike !Put some bags on her, thats like the best Sport Tourer there ever was. Opps, the Sport just came out of me didnt? Hope my ST 1300 didnt hear me? EEK! Im all for a Eastern Charotte ride, I spend a lot of time in the Uharrie forest and east of there..There are some awesome roads out that way. Most not real twisty but wick up the throttle a bit and the sweepers can become interesting. Bigok
As STBoo can tell you,Im big on group rides with like minded Sport Touring riders.

Hi Lager... much better choice than Pilsner IMHO!  I guess if I was to choose a beer nick it would have to be Stout, but that wouldn't be very complementary!

Yep, we ST'ers are something of a minority in the riding community, me thinks... Headscratch

Welcome. But Cafe is sort of incorrect, a Pilsner is a Lager

True, but there are much better Lagers than a Pilsner, IMHO.  Why don't you just pour water into a GOOD beer, already....

Lager - as a British motor bike rider, it is my obligation to appreciate a good pint...  Beerchug

Hi Lager,
I like lager, I love ale!
I attended the Great American Beer Festival in 95, I believe there were 32 different categories of beers to be judged.
Something for everyone. Personally I like a hoppy ale, India Pale Ale, or in cooler weather a porter.
