I'm in the very early stages at possibly trading for an 03 ST1300 with about 26K on the clock. If I get close to the bike, what sorts of things should I look for? What services should be done on a bike with 26K? Any recalls?

Here is a list of ST1300 recalls http://stwiki.notonthe.net/twiki/bin/view/ST13/RecallInfo Also the 03 is the only ST1300 that didn't have an electric windshield unless it is an ABS model.I have more miles on mine and it will be 2 years old in June.The only issue has been a t-stat stuck open and it was covered by the warranty.Valve checks are every 16k.

Besides the windshield the main problem for me with an '03 is its Silver color  Lol
