Sounds incredible.  I hope they're able to release it and it's well received in the market.

The mock up looks about 100 times better than the sketch that appeared in CYCLE magazine a while ago

That engine would be perfect in a baby 'Vette Lol
It looks a lot like a cut-off LS1, really.  Thank the moto-gods they didn't just go with a HD-hack.

Thanks for your interest guys, keep checking http://www.motusmotorcycles.com for updates. We are currently designing the engine and we hope to release details soon. This is no crazy science project. We're just making an affordable bike with proven technology and a kick-ass engine. We're going against the odds though, especially in America, so we need your support!!

Kind regards,
Brian
Motus Motorcycles

Brian,

I have one question, why no articulated shaft drive ala BMW or VFR with your V4?

Thanks,

Larry

A V-4?  Mounted sideways?  Why didn't Honda ever think of that?

It does sound nice, but that's without mufflage.

New pics from The Kneeslider:

Quote

Got a note from Brian Case about progress on the MST-01. It seems no matter how hard a team works to build a new motorcycle and new motorcycle company, there will be those who doubt unless they occasionally see some build photos. These shots give us a glimpse of the layout of the bike and how things are coming together.

Amid all of the disappointing news from the big 4 and Harley, here we see an American motorcycle company starting out and building an all new bike with an all new engine. I am definitely pulling for these guys and hope to see more progress on this bad boy in the coming months.

The frame has the look of something a dude with some skill could build in his garage, and I like that about it.

Warning: crappy music ahead.  Thank goodness for the lovely sound emanating from that V-4!

When that Motus guy logged on to ST.N as "woodshed", I specifically remember us telling him that we wanted a shaft drive.

Chain drive is fine with me, but I'd want it fully enclosed.

I want that engine for my Triumph Spitfire!  Seriously, I've been wondering about putting a Honda ST1300 engine in there, or even better a Goldwing engine (if it would fit...more power and already has a reverse!).
