Replaced the seat foam on the 72 Kawasaki S2
Fired it up just to smell the 2 stroke smoke and ride up and down the block

No more yellow dust falling all over the place

Maybe some day I will register it again, or sell it

I'm guilty of sitting on it in the basement and making motorcycle noises, pushing buttons, and playing with the electrics  Embarassment

Took the cruiser out tonight and purchased a six pack to test out my new bags.  Nice night for a ride.

on-line window shopped for a top case from Givi and a new set of tires.  put another $100 in the savings bank for the suspension upgrade she's getting as soon as I have another $250 added to that bank.  bid on a used Givi monokey top rack for her.

Where's the freeken road?
My daughter asked if I was going to pull over. I told her pulling over was for Sallys. Maybe if we were on the bike we'd pull over.

For the record, we were proceeding VERY cautiously.

I put it in a metal building at work for the weekend so I could bring home a four wheel drive so I can get to work in the snow.  Pretty convenient.  But pretty weird leaving the beloved behind.

I went to the garage and was shocked at the open spot on the floor.  Then I realized what was different.  I cried a little.

Check... bought the Givi monokey top rack and ordered a set of Gen Mar risers  Bigsmile  Now I've got to find a Givi Monokey trunk, still pay for a kaoko throttle lock and suspension work and get a new set of tires...  I see lots of OT in my immediate future  Lol

Looking at a high of 24 degrees tomorrow and warming up to the low 30s next week...  I guess it'll be a while till I get the bike out of storage.
