Took the snips and cut out all the wiring that I took to long installing for the heated grip liners that turned out to be cheap crap. Never even used them. My Oxford grips will be here tomorrow.

Of course I found out there craptasticness AFTER drilling and installing the now useless switch, now appropriately labeled. Lol

Not useless...just find something else to farkel the bike with and you'll have a handy prewired switch!

I ordered the Oxford heated grips from Twisted Throttle, they shipped yesterday afternoon, arrived at noon today. I installed them in a couple of casual hours. No fuss no muss. Plug and play. I have them wired to a distribution plate (also Twisted) so they are switched. So simple. Thumbsup The craptastic ones I asked for (and received) for Christmas were a waste of money and time. Thumbsdown

Oh yeah, rode it to the gym and back this morning!!!! Bigok

Wow, that was more smileys than I usually would use.

Ahhhh, it's Friday - Lunch at the Rock Store and a run up and down a couple of canyons on the Norge (mid 70s, clear and sunny).  Now off to give Ruby (88 Kawasaki C-10) some exercise and relax at some other local motorcycle hangout.

I installed a set of Sargent saddles on mine.  Then I got the bike down off its stands, where it had sat all Winter.  The weather is warmer and bike is ready for riding season.  It waits on me.

Rode on to work. Had to, car broke. Managed to get one reassembled by midnight, weather man said high of 55 so I didn't take the heated stuff in the morning, 55 yeah Lol

I should have known better. Still it was good to ride even though the county routes are still covered with sand, or was that the good part?

Bomber offered breaker bar, 32 mm socket, & torque wrench.  So I was able to change out stock front sprocket for a 17t.  Thanks, sir!
Touring screen, center stand, & rear rack should arrive next week.
Get them on & I'm ready for some of that there touring & motocamping been hearing 'bout.   Banana Chili

Took the loud pipes off it and therefore passed the MOT.  Sad

I look forward to buying illegal stickers that say these pipes are legal...
