Rode it to work for the first time this year!  I am still having a hard time believing how much smoother it runs after the throttle body sync!

Last week I put the bike in the shop to repair the crash damage from last summer which resulted in my broken leg. Mostly just scratches on the left side where it slid down the road. While talking to the repair guy, he said he could fix the scratches and re-shoot it ( he also is a custom bike builder and does AWESOME paint!). I asked him if the paint had to be the same color since I've never liked the silver on my K12GT. He said nope, it could be any color I wanted.  So I should be picking up my black cherry GT any day now. Woohoo! It's like getting a new bike! Thumbsup

Taking a break tonight and not working on the 450. Have been working steadily over last few weeks prepping for a 1600 mile Tecate to Cabo ride . Offroad, with a modicum of pavement. The bike is ready.  T minus 27 days

Took the cover off it and rode it about 300 miles on my favorite road around here. Scenic HWY95 was even more beautiful than usual with snow coverd mountain in the background. I also forgot my camera. Bash

Been riding to work all week. On Monday we rode the Versys, Tuesday the ST1300, yesterday back on the Versys and today we rode 2 up on the F650GS (62 miles one way). The little GS did just fine, its an impressive little machine.  Thumbsup Thumbsup

put some tennis racket handle tape on the levers in an attempt to not need it.  rode to work to give it a test, that stuff does a good job of keeping the fingers insulated from the levers for sure!  fingers never felt cold on the levers!

Woulda rode it.  That must be what you all are doing since I was the last person to post.  We had about 6" of blowing snow that turned into 2'+ drifts.  So after the motorhome was extricated from the drift across the road in front of my house, I put the comfort kit on my Uly (for heat issues).  Drilled holes in the windshield so I can access bodywork screws easier.  AND straightened up the supports for the windshield that go to the handlebars.  Much better now as I can see the WHOLE dash!
