I left it alone for the entire day. Today I dropped out of light speed and walked every where until 1:30.

A little over seven miles today on foot. Thumbsup

Tonight, I will ride to Worcester and back, thats about it.

Packed up the 72 Kawasaki S2 Triple, tomorrow it goes to a new home Beerchug

I have had the bike for more than 15 years and stopped riding it 10 years ago, been tinkering on it but nothing more than around the block

Hear is to more space in the garage  Bigok

Now that autumn is here and the school holidays are upon us my 10 year old daughter suggested wheeling out the TRX and riding to a cafe in the hills for lunch, a very pleasant experience.   Smile

Moved it out of the way so I could repair a window. Maybe later I'll ride it.

I'm going to try to make my own sheep skin pad for it.

Put the Givi tail rack on the VFR yesterday, then ran to Wal-Mart to pick up a new battery charger.  I seem to lose my battery charger every frikken winter.  They're only ~$20 but still - I spent over an hour looking for my Battery Tender Jr I bought this time last year.  Today, when I get home, I'll set the battery charging while I run out and get a can of fresh fuel to put in the VFR.  I rode it home from the shop last week on fumes; it had at least half a tank in it when I dropped it off a few months ago, and gas don't evaporate like that.  Fuel and a charged battery this afternoon, and I should be good to go for a short ride; maybe a longer one tomorrow after work.

On the plus side, the aftermarket windscreen bolts and sockets arrived from England today.  Replacement of the missing bolts was dead simple.

On the negative side, I dropped the bike off at my mechanic for them to figure out why it's using oil and makes a clattering sound on idle.  I shudder to think...

Meh.  Almost started just now.  A few more hours on the charger should make it okay.  Not gonna chance riding it into work in the morning until I can get in a test-ride and make sure it will start again.  I'll pull the plug on the charger before I go to work, and see if I can take it out for a bit when I get home, before it rains.

I was born and raised in the area.

My guy thinks my bike needs rings (we're at 26,000 miles.)

Smile I rode it to work today. I try to ride as much as possible. Rode almost 500 mls last weekend. Sat my b/f and I rode 200 plus mls down Route 66 looking at ghost towns. There was a few gravel rodes, very bumpy. At one time when I was following him he came up to a hill and quickly braked almost to a stop, when I quickly caught up all I could do was go to the left to see very deep soft dirt ruts, in which I stood up and rode her down like a dirt bike. It actually was fun. Rode another 200 mls plus on Sun w/another couple down 66 again. No gravel this time lol

Yeah, for some reason I have "Marcster" as a waypoint on my GPS, and I see it on the map everytime I head up that way with the GPS on (I visit her pretty much every weekend).  Maybe you had a tech day or other get-together a few years back that I was planning on attending?  I'm still not sure why I have your house in my GPS.  Bigsmile

I'm hoping to be up and on the road by 8am, and back at her house by noon, so not a long ride.  It's gonna be chilly compared to the past few days anyway.
