glad you're ok.
Sounds like it was definitely close.

I had one the other day turn left in front of me from a side street from the left.
I just looked at her silver PT cruiser and knew she wasn't paying attention I slowed and sure enough she pulled right out there.
I was on her rear bumper and stopped next to herat the light and asked if she had any idea she just about hit me...Her response "Well I didn't see you!" Like it was my fault.
After telling her she should pay attention to whats actually going on she had the kind remark of "Maybe you should pay attention and get out my face!" Her exact words.
Had I not been in a nice mood or if I would have had a flip up lid I can only imagine how belligerent I would have become.

I rode off just chalking it up as another one of those....

Washed it. Tomorrow I am going to check the cam belts and adjust if necessary. I really don't like working on it if it's dirty.  Shrug

Yeah, a 50/50 tire sucks 50% of the time on pavement and 50% of the time off pavement for a total of 100%!
Whatcha getting?

Speaking of dead batteries....I went by a fellow rider's place and left the bike on (motor off) and killed the battery after the bike (original battery in an '02) had already been sitting without a tender for a month.

So, I had my friend give me 2 push starts that day....!  Battery been fine since (because I've been riding) but it's time for a new one.

Nice seeing a guy with 12 exotic italian bikes get off his $40k 2009 1098R and push my 2002 Yamaha down the street... Bigsmile

Michelin Pilot Road's
In my opinion, the Trailwings were no better in dirt and gravel than regular street tires.  And they were worse on the street....go figure.

Got the Trophy ready for the Region-2 meet next weekend.

New tires front/rear
Flushed the hydraulics
Oil Change
Double-checked everything I could think of

It's wanting to go

It has newly mounted driving lights, RaceTech front forks.

Well, not today, but an update from yesterday.

Took the bike to work. The wife had a couple appointments after I got home, so I was on dad-duty. Since I couldn't leave the kids all alone(law kinda shys on the when they are 2 and 4), I decided it was cleaning and maintenance day. Tasia "The Boomstick" Zuk got the Harley treatment! We're talking thorough hand washing, multi-coat waxing, and even Mothers buffing on the polished bits. It was like a day at the spa for her! Hope she enjoys it, because its as clean as she'll be for the rest of the year.

I thought that's what duct tape and closets were for.   Headscratch
