Finally got around to replacing my chain Embarassment

3k miles over due. The rollers were gone on a few links and the pins were the only thing left Crazy What awful sounds the thing made.

Glad I made it back from St Louis Friday.

Rode it for 3.5 hours and then parked it next to a pretty bike that was lucky enough to get some sunshine today but only because the owner needed the room in the garage to work on a vehicle. Lol

Rode the Kymco to Sam's Club, gassed up, put a 5.5 lb. tray of boneless country ribs and our prescriptions in the underseat storage bin.  Stopped at a grocery store on the way home and hung a dozen eggs and a box of Cracklin' Oat Bran from a bag on the leg shield hook.

I'll definitely have to get some panniers or a topbox on the motorcycle to replace this scooter...  It's just so darn practical!

Of course, I need to find time to sell this scooter before I can buy a motorcycle.  All things in good time I suppose.

Ok, pretty boring day, did my 50 mile round trip commute, then took off to the store to pick up a new visor for my helmet, so another 40 or so up and back.

Rode from Bend to coast for chowder.

Oh, and I biffed on an off-ramp in Salem a 100 miles into my 425-mile ride.   Embarassment

Opened the carbs and took the extra washer out to raise the needle, then set the clip to the suggested setting.  Put it all back together.

Realized after everything was together that they meant put the clip 3rd ring from the top, I put it 3rd ring from the bottom.

It's better than it was before, but I still have to go back in again and raise it another grove.
