Took it on a 73 mile run to my nearest Hardee's (known as Carls Jr. on the West Coast) for a #2 combo.  Hardee's has my favorite fast food chain burger -- and I have a Five Guys about 6 miles from my house.

My scooter is in the lower right:

Jakieboy (Don) came over and helped me change the chain on the Trophy.   Bigok Hail

Also did an oil change on the GL-1200.  May clean up a newly-acquired GL-1500 later tonite when the nuclear furnace releases its grip.

Moved the RE5 back out to the garage after bringing it in the house for some electrical work. Installed a new Dataltel voltmeter into the fairing to take advantage of the new aux wiring harness.

Made sure both bikes were above the water line in the garage since we have had bad violent thunder storms since Thursday.

I don't want to hear any expert say we are having a drought in August, my yard has boot deep puddles since friday, water is coming into the garage under the door seal and my sump pump hasn't stopped running every hour on the hour since yesterday.

Oh, and I'm on the high point of the block.

Rode it to Cossatot Falls and watched the kayak guys have fun.  Rode it to Little Missouri Falls.  Got sideways at the top of 4th gear a few times.  Looked for a better take out spot on the Caddo below Amity.

Installed a Stebel Nautilus horn...............which rubbed though the front brake line during a ride  EEK!  I thought I had checked it out to make sure it cleared but obviously it didn't.

Now I've got a kick ass sounding horn but no front brake so now the bike's parked in the garage until my parts from cyclebrakes show up  Thumbsdown Sad

I replaced my rear stock shocks for some WORKS Street Trackers and proceeded to put @ 300 miles on it.

Yes, it's a big improvement.
