Seattle-ites: Babysitter / mother's helper?

I know this is patently OT, but it's also very much a local thing and I thought worth a try in the region 1 section. Beat me with a wet noodle if I'm off base.
Anyway, any of you guys/gals living in-town who have responsible, tween-to-teen-aged (a) relatives and/or (b) friends with such who could use a little babysitting / mother's helper income? We don't bite and will probalby pay competatively. Plz let me know in this thread or via PM. Thx

I feel your pain.
I don't know anyone in West Seattle, though.

I sent your plea on to the only person I know who has a kid of the 'appropriate' age, but she's got a full plate already
Have you asked neighbors? Is there a community center that might help? I know that a personal recommendation is best, but it might be worth a looksee. Good luck!

Won't someone PLEASE think of the children?!!
Seriously, I know how tough it is to find a good babysitter. Good luck.
