Softbags for a CityX?
«
on:
April 21, 2009, 06:45:39 PM »
Hello all,
Been lurking for a little while, but relatively new to STN and extremely new to sport touring...
Does anybody have a favorite set of soft saddlebags for a 05 CityX?
I'd rather not pay the buell premium for something that probably isn't as functional as some of the aftermarket gear around.
My primary concern is having a solid attachment point on the bike. It seems like a lot of the universal fit stuff would be, in essence, bungie corded to the cheese grater...
Any opinions appreciated.

Probably as expensive as the factory set up but the
Ventura Pack System
works really well.

The Buell saddle bags are good on the Firebolts, but the Lightning ones seem a bit wobbly. Like something is missing.
I've got a ventura as well. The rack fits well, the packs are good and they hold a lot.
