Can they be shipped earlier than that?  I'm leaving a week and a half before the National, and I think a lot of other people are probably leaving early as well.

If you need your shirt shipped earlier, then make arrangements to have it shipped directly to the hotel. Let them know that it's coming and to hold it for you. That keeps Peter's job easier and you still get your awesome shirt  Bigok

How about those who aren't sure they'll make it?  Can we get a shirt shipped AFTER the event to our home.  ( I don't want to Jinx the ride like last time I went there ).

Nope.

These are short-run shirts. Peter (jimmystartup) has to do the run all at once in order to not lose his shirt  Lol in the production costs. So man up, order one and then do your best to show up  Thumbsup

I just got an e-mail from the shirt place that said there were only 12 shirts ordered and it takes 24 to set up the press.

He asks if I would like to wait till he can get them done at a later date, or if we want to cancell our order.

Wish we could have gotten more orders in to have made this worth his time and effort!!!!

Quote
Gun Slinger,

I'm writing to you regarding your order with us for the STN National 2009 tee shirt. Although I kept the ordering open more than a week longer than originally anticipated I've only received a dozen shirt orders. Since I can't get the presses set up for less than two dozen shirts I won't be able to complete this order. I'm sorry for this, I know you were probably looking forward to another shirt for your collection.

If you really want this shirt as a memorabilia piece I'm trying to arrange time on a digital press locally. Just let me know what you would like to do, should I cancel your order or keep it in the cue for a post-meet print run.

Again, my apologies.

Sincerely,
Peter Smith

That sucks. I opted to get ours anyway even if it isn't in time. I can't believe we couldn't get 24 people to buy a shirt. What a bunch of cheap skates...  Twofinger

Hey all,

I'm really sorry this fell through. I'm working on getting some press time on a digital press so that we can get the shirts done for those who have chosen to keep their order. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks,
Peter

Wow, 2 1/2 months.  Either you're very patient or you've been very busy.

After I got home, I called.  My money was refunded w/in a couple of days.  I got the impression there was some kind of confusion at Destee-Nation.  That, or they would rather keep the cash if you're not going to ask for it back.

What's the latest scoop on all this? Did anyone ever get a shirt? What was the design?

I have access to a printer that can do printed heat transfers. Not the same as screen printed, but it works well for small quantities. If screen printing was really wanted, I can look into get a price too from my work.

Sorry I'm just now getting to it. Totally out of the loop, but if I can help and if people still want a shirt, let me know.
