With the attendees list at just over 20 people and climbing, I'm starting to think more about organization.

When my local forum held a rally in ES last year, they had a group dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. Therefore I know that they can handle large groups. Any interest in setting up a large group dinner there for Friday night? Or perhaps Saturday night? Comments? Anyone?

Make a good impression at the Traveler's Inn, y'all.  After all, that's where the 2008 national meet will probably be held.  Wouldn't want to have to find a different place to go.

They seemed happy with us at CSTN2006. Without even being asked, they put us all together in one building and didn't say anything about the drunken riders hanging off the balconies until the wee hours of the morning.

Yeah, they did all that.    (I still don't know who THEY thought we were, but I'm not complaining   )

With the list of attendees getting fairly long, I thought it might be smart to make my reservation.  I just got off the phone and got a single with a queen size bed for Friday and Saturday nights for $46 plus tax.  Very reasonable.

BTW, the entire inn is now non-smoking.

Hmm- I've been thinking for the past week that it might be worth calling them to make sure we get a STN Block of rooms together. I'll try to do this tomorrow.

Count me in as a definite maybe!    Lot of time in between now and then, but I'd really like to get back to ES to see some old friends and make some new ones too!!    I'll keep an eye on the thread and see how it looks when it gets closer.  Jimmy, we splitn' a room again?  Hope to see you all there!
