Are any of you going to enter in the race.


It's not a race. The "Blackwater 100" was a legendary race. I watched the infamous water crossing a few times. The organizer, Dave Coombs, said he'd give me a trophy if I could finish just one of the four laps :-) I used to practice on Saturdays at the High Point MX track that he also owned/ran in exchange for some sweat equity.

The "Blackwater 400" ride, is just a two-day dual-sport ride that Doug and I are organizing. Best done on a thumper, but it's probably all manageable on a big trailie if you have lots of protection, skills and take your time.

I am thumpered and protected (doesn't sound right) but either way I have this marked on my schedule.
