Good to hear someone can get out. Not us. We've got inches and inches of #$!!@% snow.
Haven't seen the end of our driveway clear in months. Maybe in late March? (please, please, please)

I was fortunate enough to slip out for 2-3 hours on Tuesday of this last week. Near 50 and sunny! Still some cool areas where the snow is still on the ground. Also areas where the snow has melted and made lakes in the fields. Otherwise, it was just what the doctor ordered!! My sanity has been restored, at least for another week or 2!

For me the problem is a half mile of dirt rode to get out to black top. Every time the temp. gets warm enough to ride, the dirt road thaws and is impassable on anything but my dirt bike. PS; Speedjunkie, I ended up buying your old Sprint st. Had to hall it home during a snow storm and it hasn't got out of the garage yet

I finally got out for about 30 minutes yesterday, man it was nice. I saw a few bikes out myself. Stuck at home with a wicked sore throat today when I should be working.

They told me someone bought it, but they weren't sure if it was you or not. Did they give you a better deal than Bob was gonna do? I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Really a great bike, my hand just couldn't hack it anymore. The Tiger on the other hand is WONDERFUL!! Maybe we can make some rides this season. There's a few of us that try to do a few rides throughout the year. You mention dirt bike, is that full dirt, or DS? Take care.

I've been out and about at least one day each week so far, mostly on the Transalp. I finally got the 'busa started last week and took it down to the mechanics on Friday afternoon for a valve check and replace as necessary, and a fork oil change and replace the springs. Should be back this week (crosses fingers).
In a moment of *doof*ness, I left the helmet at the shop (I did it on purpose since I took the bus home and didn't want to carry it back). So I rode the Transalp to the gym with the old Harley half helmet. Bad but not as bad as no helmet at all.
On the plus side, after 30 years of on and off riding, the Hayabusa is the first bike I've liked and kept long enough to actually have the fork oil changed and valves checked. Sounds like the love is still there even after 56,000 miles

Nope but it was fricking cold. I should have snagged my scarf before leaving but I didn't think it was going to be that bad for a quick run to the shopping center and the gym.
I don't like not having a helmet when riding and I just wasn't thinking when I dropped off the 'busa and helmet or I'd have brought it home with me. So I have to suffer through wearing the Harley helmet. It's not full face but it's at least something in case something happens. I feel a lot more vulnerable with it on though
