Technology has changed many things in this world and made motorcycling more intersting for some of us who are geeks. Long story short, I will be leaving out on a ride for 10-days tomorrow in Northern California with 6 of my friends and I will be keeping my SPOT tracking on for anyone interested in following or possibily meeting up for some beers and or a ride. SPOT TRACKING LINK There is a 20 min delay between each tracking that will be sent but it should not be hard to see exactly where we are at any given time. I decided to leave the laptop at home this time so I will not have the same access to the computer that I normally have but I will try and check to see if anyone wants to meet up to join us during our ride or for a beer at the end of the day.

It worked perfectly last year and I have some Canadian friends I was able to meet who gave some hot tips on where to ride and what to see. I will buy the first round. Any takers...  Rolleyes

Seems like you stalled out by Yreka/Genada for a couple days and then started a slab fest after that. Somebody have some mechanical difficulties?

You missed Cecilleville to Calahan off the 96, one of the best roads in the area. Though I saw you did the US forest road 1, between 36 and 299, that one's a mini adventure. Google really needs to fix their mapping of that road, didn't really match your gps pings. Or maybe you got really lost and you really were miles from any semblance of a road...  Lol
