Yup, looks like a hurricane theme. Figured where better to start than the GA/FL border.

The VOID Rally has been cancelled. Rally Master, Scott LaShier was injured riding in the Iron Butt Rally (blew a tire). Broken pelvis, among other injuries. He will recover, but a long convalescence is expected.
Co-Rally Master, Gary Stiles is moving to Texas.

Yeah, I have been following his recovery. Hopefully he recovers quickly. I am a bit bummed about tthe rally being cancelled, but think they did the right thing by cancelling it due to the circumstances. Theres always next year...

The MD20-20 list had mention that they try to run the Void in April 2010, maybe the 15th (tax day).

I may  have trouble gettting  off work at that time of the year (work at a bike shop) but would run it if I can. I would miss the nice cool weather the October Rally had to offer though. Maybe I'll use the time I had off for the Void to do a CC50 this year.
