You almost think you're in California when riding 337 between Leakey and Camp Wood

Yeah, except all the people stayed in California!
That's what makes them extra special. I really like that part of Texas, there's a road 55 I think that's also fun but more wide open.

Glad you enjoyed my playground..
The "3 sisters" are very enjoyable. I regularly do 300-400 mile weekend rides through the Hill Country..
Right now, its friggen hot..we have had above 100 for days, with no end in sight.

They are awesome. I try to get down there every few months for a weekend ride. There are a few more roads in the area but I can't recall their names right now.

I have to agree. The Hill Country is nice, but it does not compare to most of the roads in Arkansas!

Last summer Atypical1, DagoR1 and I got to ride 335/336/337 on our way to Arkansas for the National meet. In all honesty, I enjoyed the Texas Hill country roads more than those we sampled in Arkansas.

Ah, see- I rode Push Mountain two days after the Hill Country. It was a good road, I'll give you that- but I still enjoyed Texas better.
