I don't really. I live in Germany 92-96 and loved it. LOVED IT. Wish I was still there.
If that is the same pass between Italy and Switzerland that I took, it was my favorite ride. Did you come across any herds of cattle making their way up the road?

That is Splügen pass. The cattle kept off the road--actually, I don't know that I saw too many.
