For those that came on the Feb 09 Ensenada ride, you may find this of note.

My wife and I decided to go out to LA Cetto's vineyard for a picnic lunch.  We haven't been up Hwy 3 since Feb.  In February the road was part off-road-adventure as they were resurfacing much of it.  Now it's awesome.

No more two-lane passes to negotiate through the mountain climb.  It's 4-lane goodness for about 15km.  It's briefly 2-lane in the town of San Antonio Las Minas where 4-lane construction is yet to be completed.

Mustafa's restaurant, just outside of San Antionio, somehow didn't merit a crossover, so you have to pass them by 1/4 mile and take a u-turn.

October might be Ensensada IV time?

we passed by the Sunday brunch at La Fonda this afternoon, and it brought back fond memories of the Feb run.

I've never ridden down there but was that way a few months back in the car.  Man the endless construction.....  But that's great news!  I'll have to run down there and grab some wine / lunch.  It's always a nice trip.  I like LA Cetto.  Also Tres Mujeres.  Hahah, talk about opposite ends of the winery spectrum.  Wink
