The language is a little rough.   Lol

This is from my adventures out at Taneum yesterday.  That was a long and hard day out on the dirt.  On our way back low on fuel we ended up losing the guy in the video.  Thank god he showed up fine at a totally different place than where we staged as we were getting prepared to go out and try to find him after gasing back up.

LMAO  Lol  guy needs to keep his feet on the pegs, ass off the seat and his weight on the bike.  Once you put your foot down there goes your traction.  The rest is a lesson in what not to do.

Looks like someone bonked and was totally shot.

Been there done that.

Even easy stuff like that becomes impossible - then you drop the bike, and have to pick it up -deepening the spiral into oblivion.

True,  yet so hard to learnb and remember for nopn dirt riders like me.

I got stuck in sand - pretty deep in fact (nearly missed train tracks) and some oldewr guy said stand on the pegs, now givce it gas and magically she rolled on out.   30 percent of my rim was under the sand(ground level).

Is it wrong to say I laughed my ass of when he just loses it at the end and cusses up a storm?   Bigsmile  I nearly peed myself.  Mostly because I can remember being in situations like that and laughing about it later...

He was having a bad day.  The stream was very simple.  There was a small rock ledge on the other side which would kill your momentum if you didn't know it was there.  I had no problems although I didn't just ride through it like I should.  I think I was still laughing inside.    Lol

Ah, fond memories. Smile

That vid reminds me of my very first dirt bike experience riding the YZ426F that a friend urged me to purchase as a first offroad bike.  "Too big? Nah, that bike will be fine for you!"

After a few wobbly tours up and down the main trail at Wissenhunt (in Dahlonega, GA) where I spent most of my time on the saddle instead of up on the pegs, my friend insisted that I try some single track.  I declined twice insisting that I was probably not up for it, but he persisted saying it would be fun.  Finally, I relented.  Within about 10 minutes of entering the first trail I had ripped my front fender part way off, fallen down a hill (needing to lift the bike back up from the low side of this fairly steep hill), and finally capped it off with a 5 minute torrent of profane language at his suggestion that I just "get on the gas" to ride over an uphill section of trail covered with large rocks that I'd stalled out on repeatedly.  At the time, he just laughed, came down the trail and rode my bike back to the trailhead for me.  Smile

Needless to say, I was in waaaay over my head on that bike.  We spent zero time before hand prepping the bike, so I think it had nearly 30psi in the tires when we left the parking lot the -2nd- time I rode it.  And I was invariably exhausted leaving the lot the first few rides as I had not yet mastered the art of using the decompression lever.

Been there...totaly exhausted and still trying to man handle the bike through obstacles. When that happens those little obstacles turn into big ones pretty quickly. I've never gotten that mad about it, though. I usually just sit back and take some deep breaths before continuing, it makes a big difference.

Same here and I do the same basic thing.  take a moment, drink some water, have a snack if need be, recoup and then go for it again.
