Help with pants

I need an opinion on pants. This isn't the same old "what's the best kind" thread. What I want is a textile pant with armour, a waterproof removable liner, and won't make my ass look huge   , all for under $200 CAN.
We can go from 0-30 celcius in a few hours, so i would like a pant that is all weather without having to buy and carry 3 different pairs.
Since I will probably be buying online, how much bigger should I get them than my jean size?   31" (outstanding) wranglers

The wife is trying to sway me into a pair of Draggin jeans. They offer great rash protection, but thats it.

FirstGear HT Air 2.0 (the HT and HT Air are different products, by the way).

These are mesh overpants with a removable water and windproof liner.  

The mesh will make them comfortable in hot weather.  During summer, I usually just wear LD comfort shorts or some other wicking short underneath them.  The liner warms them up considerably by stopping the wind.  Since they're designed as overpants, you can slip on long johns or jeans underneath them easily when you hit that 0 degree Celsius mark (Look, Ma, I said "Celsius!"  I'm talking Canadian!).  Buy your correct size for that product.

I've got the Draggin' Jeans and really like them too.  I wear them when I'm out for day rides when I know the weather will stay nice.  You can get Knox knee armor for them that attaches with Velcro to the liner covering the Kevlar pad.  I think I picked up the knee armor on-line from Competition Accessories, but it was a long time ago.  Or pick up some of those armored long johns (like those made by Bohn) to wear under them.

For me, it's the jeans for day rides, HT Airs for anything overnight.

I recommend pre-owned Aerostich Darien or AD-1.  Armored. Adjustable waists to accommodate layering (or too much Guinness). Goretex lined so no need for rain pants. The Dariens are repairable and alterable. Either one will stop breathing in super high humidity, but don't sweat it (urm); I've ridden in both of them at over 100F and lived to tell.

Checkout Olympia pants. I think a 32 would work good. A little room when in the riding position is good. Good luck

I just bought FieldSheer's Mercury pants.  The cut is great, looks good and comfortable. The grey is a little darker than the pictures.  Also, pretty waterproof.  

I had a pair of Firstgear's HT Overpants.  They were solid but the Mercury's fit better and look better.  Time will tell if they hold up as well as the HT's.

+1 FG HT Air. My pair is going on 4 years.  
JR Alter Ego - they are okay, but do not vent well, and the fine zippers are finicky, and I have to repair yearly. IMO.
Teknic Freeway - Good for the northern midwest, but too hot for summer.

Anybody familiar with Klim Revolt? Motorcycle closeouts has a good deal on 'em. Klim in general is great stuff I hear.
