The owner's manual is no help; it says have Kawasaki do it.

I peeked under the fairing, and didn't see anything obvious. Is it that funky-looking screw with all the teeth under it on the high-beam side? I also looked around inside the fairing and didn't see anything obvious.

I assume this is the same as on '08 models, and there must be a few of them here.

"Take the screen off. 4 #2 headed phillips screws Place the bike about 20 ft from a wall/object - with the bike upright -make a mark on the wall where the top of the low beam hits it.

Look down onto the top of the headlight assembly. You will see a bolt with a cup shaped slottted/washer/adjuster opposite where the speedo cable enters. This has to be turned counter clockwise. Put a thin bladed screw driver and twist it to get it to turn - as if to unscrew the bolt/washer. This pushes the top of the reflector forward and the beam down. Try one rotation. Check where the light now meets the wall. Do it till you think it is low enough. Replace the screen. You may have to do this several times till you have the light where you want it to be.

You can do it.
