So I'm pretty sure I've decided to ride out to NC from AZ and back later this year  Crazy .   I've got a handle on luggage and riding gear but I'm not sure if I need to pick up any mods for the bike.   Right now its all stock.  I'm gonna go with a Throttlemeister and I've got a Givi screen too.  Is there anything I need to make the trip eaiser for the SV?

An airhawk, sheepskin, beaded seat cushion or something similar would probably be nice for your tush. A camelback or other type of hydration device, so you can stay hydrated while riding.
Several pair of good flat seam compression type underwear.
Coolmax socks.
Coolmax shirts.
A camera, to prove you went on the trip. Because without pics it didn't happen.
