I'd like to remove my passenger footpegs from my Superduke. However they provide support via a small rubber button that the side cowls rest on.

Does anyone know of a product that would bolt on in place of the stock peg assembly to provide support for the cowls?

You would think that KTM would have something in their hardparts catalog...maybe I'm over looking it?

I've heard of others doing the same. Its just that it appears very floppy to me. I'm working with a specialty shop on this. Maybe later this year he'll have something that bolts in place of the peg hanger assembly to provide support for the plastic.

Keep us posted if the shop comes up with anything.  I may be interested.

I got a good look at the passenger peg mounts as I was installing my Akra's. I guess one could buy a set of these from KTM and then machine off the unwanted part. Would be somewhat $$$ as they retail for about $125 each side.

Me thinks I'll leave all as it is for now. Still some hope that the shop I mentioned might come up with something for a lot less $$$'s.

Go to Home Depot....buy piece of aluminum flat stock...drill hole...glue something soft to it...bend to fit...bolt to preexisting passenger peg hole of your choice...drink a beer...ride happy! (after beer has been metabolized and the affects are no longer present of course)
