We rode the "energy loop" in centralish Utah high country. Great burgers at Grogg's in Price, too.

No, haven't had time to mess with the shield. I wanted to confirm that it sucked yesterday on my ride. it does.

I think I'll cut this one down for summer and then I'll have to get a +5 for winter or something.

Plus I think the shop messed up the forks. I had them do the fork seals/oil (after my 10-month ordeal with doing it myself on my GPz) and I think they either put in too much oil, or flipped the oil locks like I did, or both.

The 14 belongs to my riding buddy. he absolutely loves it. He pulled the flies and installed a PCIII etc. Very strong, linear power. I must say I was expecting an OVERWHELMING amout of power but with my fat butt on it it seemed similar to my ZZR1200 (which had custom jets/needles and pulled VERY strongly). The 14 was smoother and the power started a bit lower, but it didn't feel much different power wise, to be honest.

However the suspension and brakes are worlds ahead of the 1200.  Thumbsup
