Approx 242 Miles Southwest of Albuquerque is a truly awesome ride...
If you have the time, head over to Alpine, AZ. From there, head South on Hwy 180 down through New Mexico. Approx 73 miles South is Hwy 78 that cuts across New Mexico back into Arizona. This stretch of Hwy 78 is approx 34.5 miles. At Three Way, AZ, you will come upon Hwy 191. Make a right and head North on Hwy 191. Be sure to stop for Gas in Clifton for it's approx 94 miles to the Next Gas Stop in Alpine. For the first 26.7 miles past the Circle K in Clifton, Hwy 191 can have quite a bit of Sand, Gravel, and a few good size Rocks that can be in the way. Be careful on this stretch of road. Once you hit the Maintenance Yard the road opens up a bit and is not as Technical as the first 27 miles. There is one other area North of the Maintenance Yard that will become Technical again. The loops ends back in Alpine.
The Loop is approx 210 Miles Round Trip starting in Alpine... Depending upon where/what you read, a 95 Mile section of Hwy 191 has over 400 curves... some of the guy's I ride with claim to have read it has over 1000 curves... however I cannot find anywhere on the Interweb that supports this claim...
Here's some info on the Coronado Trail Scenic Byway,
aka the Devil's Hwy, Route 666Here's a pic of a section of Hwy 78 after you cross back into AZ... One of my New Favorite Roads!

Sorry for posting such a large picture, anything smaller would not have done it Justice... ;D
