Just thought that I would let every body know that Hwy 125 that starts near Granby Colorado has just been chip and sealed on the first 14 miles.  So there is lots of loose gravel on the road and will be for the next year or so.  Take it easy on this stuff, you do not want to crash on this stuff.

I've been through there a couple times this season.    They were repaving that 14 mile stretch.
WTF?
Did they chip seal over the new pavement?

Thanks for the heads up.  Heading out through Granby this coming weekend.  Probably going to stay on 34/40 though.

Yup the chip-n-sealed over the brand new pavement.  I got to ride it before they screwed it up and it sure was sweet.  They have sprayed black tar on top of the chip-n-seal now to try and have it help keep the loose rock down.  But there is still lots of loose rock on the road.  Just take it easy riding it.
