It's not what you're saying that's the problem, it is how often you say it in as many threads as you possibly can.

It has given us the impression that you are weird, obsessive-compulsive, spiteful, and have no life.  Sort of like the boy who cried wolf, nobody wants to listen to you anymore.

Everyone in here feels bad about Buell.  Yes they've made mistakes (who hasn't).  Yes their designs are contraversial and is not for everyone.  We get all that and it is what makes the brand attractive to many.  We know how you feel already so please just give it a rest and enjoy your Ducati's and other bikes.

All True...
Guilty as charged.

I fond this level of stupidity mind boggling.  It was so obvious. and everyone just wrote it off on 2008 as Buell different.  Being different and being wrong has some major differences.

So you really think three consecutive model year of bike that shoot clutch fluid out the side is just designed for different taste?

It wont be the boy that called wolf soon, we are running out of wolves - that is companies that produce things in this country.

If no one got fired for the 1125 release than shame on them.  Its no different than hiding pedophile priest. Protecting people with the MAGNITUDE of historical blunder should be called out.

Those that say "Bring Buell Back' as if nothing is wrong forget how that you need a product that has demand at prices you cam make a profit/

If you forget history you will repeat it.

Exhibit A

Now you just got through saying it was Buell's fault these bikes were such horrors on two wheels. WTF did Buell have to do with the design of a clutch cover?  Isn't that Rotax?  And how the hell do you say it's happened for 3 consecutive model years?  I haven't seen any reports of this happening on the 2009 bikes and there ARE NO 2010 1125's.  That's been confirmed; they aren't going to build them.  There are only 2 model years.

At least go buy one so you'll have an excuse for your endless rants against this bike.  Oh, that's right.  You probably can't ride any more since you gouged your own eyes out after gazing at the horror that is the 1125R.   Crazy

You've just gone from mildly amusing and mildly annoying to flat out fucking whacked and stupid.

Seriously, you're comparing a company putting out a bike that YOU don't like to a child molester?

Jeezuz, you need help. Let it go. Find a new bone to pick.

Yummy, beautiful shot! $300 is what Buell sells that bodywork for. Fits right over the intakes.

No shit? Now there's an accounting problem. If I had a 1125 I'd be buyin' ... looks great!

If Erik had the time to learn from racing... all of the Buel would be conventional...

Would it be.

Many of the innovations that Buells are known for were originally developed for racing--as you know, that was Erik's background.  For example: the fuel-in-frame concept was originally developed as an attempt to reduce the handling differences between a racebike with an empty tank and a full one, because Erik didn't like the top-heavy feeling he got after a pitstop at Daytona.  He also developed a fuel fill located out in front of the bars, under an access door in the fairing, to allow easier filling during a pitstop (and with less likelihood of dousing the rider's crotch with fuel...).  That one didn't make it to the street bikes (where the rider is usually filling his own tank, off the bike).  The underslung muffler, the ZTL brakes, even the side-mounted radiators and pods on the 1125 R, all these concepts have a reason for being used.
