Hi Everyone:

Just in the process of ordering up factory farkles for the new FJR & wondering if anyone has the factory colour matched foot guards. Your comments please! Do I need them?

Not very popular here in NA.  Try the Brit site http://www.fjrowners.ws/phpbb2/.  By the way, this site is owned by http://www.bikejohnny.com, a fantastic source for the FJR (and others) as well as some of the best customer service bar none.

I saw them on a floor model this weekend and they look as though they add a great deal of protection.

I am thinking they would come in handy on those 8 degree celcius days around here.

That's why they likes 'em in Jolly Old.  Lots of cold and rain.  They claim the work well.  By the way, what is this 'rain' and 'cold' of which they speak? Headscratch

If you believe Al Gore, we will soon be basking in So Cal weather here and well So Cal will be under water. But until then I may invest the 300 clams.
