I had the drag link bolt replaced under recall in early 07 but this sounds like a different issue?  Entire assembly as opposed to just the bolt?
Thanks for posting - will definitely look into it.

From another forum:

I called Triumph USA, and asked about this recall. They said it was different then the first series of recalls for the drag link hardware. This time, they are changing the drag link itself. They further instructed that if your bike had the first drag link hardware recall still open, the new recall takes over.

They have the parts in Georgia. The internet news has beaten the letter notification. You do not need the letter to have this taken care of. If the last six of your VIN falls between 221423 and 424192, you need to get your bike to the dealer for this recall compliance. The dealers have been notified by Triumph, so they should be aware of the details.

going to pick mine up today. The new draglink is much beefier, however they didn't change how the plates mount to the shock.. seems like that might have a weakness similar to the draglink..

There's also (according to one person) a superceeded part number for one of the bolts that just happened recently..  Hopefully that doesn't require another trip.
