You got the B12 ready to roll?  I need to get the new skins put on mine and she's golden.  It's been all on the XR so far, but with all the rain yesterday I would guess all the salt and much of the gravel is gone.  Time to get those skins done and turn her loose!

Yepp....

Valve adjustment....pars removal.....PROPER jetting and tune..timing advanced....carbs synched... new windshield.. Bigsmile

Purrrrrrrrsssssss like a cat with a bowl of milk... Inlove

Put another 30 miles on it tonight....

Day 4 this week of commuting.  70 miles round trip on the bike takes a big load off the commuting in the truck gas budget.  I may pass 1500 riding miles for the month of March.   EEK!

Finally rode to work! Took the GS's seat to get worked on a couple weeks ago, right before the weather turned nice. And
have been working on DRZ parts so it's been killing me not to ride. Well I got the DRZ back together and.......took it to work.
The ride in was fine but I froze my ass off on the way home! Bigsmile

Wednesday I pick up the GS seat, Ahhhhh, Gerbings!

Got the Viffer back together and went for a ride Bigok

Roadsmart tires are nice, but I wasn't pushing them very hard considering they're brand new and it's still sort of chilly plus there's still leftover crud on the road from winter.  K&N air filter made a noticeable difference in high rpm acceleration.  Mobil1 synthetic seems to really smooth out the shifting, particularly downshifting.

Rode in to work again yesterday, then took off for Jackson to grab the photo tag by the long way.  Got the shot, headed for the house in a leisurely fashion and found out I'd been Bruced.  Total for the day was right at 250 miles.  This has been a simply amazing March.

Lol  Ain't no thang, it's been happening with increasing regularity.  It just means the riding season is starting for the rest of y'all.  In honor of St. Paddy's day, the Irish Hills were very scenic yesterday.   Bigsmile

Well, I walked out to get the mail today and the next thing I remember I was pulling back into the driveway on my bike.

Must be a nice day.

I vaguely remember jumping it with the cage...

Sunny day here in NorCal, so I used the scoot to do some chores. Went to my buddy's house to get some of that gold painted gravel one uses in floral arrangements. Ya see, I am making a neat little gift for a little girl.

She likes pirates and we've got a deal. If she's good and obeys her parents, I'll make her a treasure chest. Did I mention she's 5?

I have a nice cigar box, this gold gravel and several packages of that foil wrapped chocolate that looks like money.

I layered it up with the "gold bars" on the bottom, a layer of gravel, gold coins, gravel and on top silver and copper wrapped chocolate money. As she digs, the money gets bigger. Smile

I'll give it to her Dad tonight and he and her Mom can determine when best to award her this treasure chest.

So, today I used the scoot for the forces of good. Well, that and I really dig riding it.

snow.    So I thought I'd try putting the new tires on myself last night.  No problems.  Got them balanced this morning, now I just have to wait for the freeking snow to clear up. Crazy  She's so clean right now- it's a shame to get her all dirty first ride.  Plus the skins will be slippery for a bit.

At least I have the XR...

No riding today. spent 3 hours underneath a  friends trailer working on the wiring. had bad ground. ended up being the female connector.

Acutely 1 hour working on the trailer and the other 2 hours drinking beer. Beerchug
