You mean you're not going to attend the infamous Elephant rally?  Wink

Orson, I don't have a sidecar. Besides, I've become very complacent in my old age. However, time for you to get off the couch and embark on some new adventures to tide us over the winter Wink

Still, it's early, isn't it?

When I lived in Boston MA, you garaged your bike from 1 November to 1 March. I couldn't deal with that and moved to London. In 26 years, I've known one week where it was impossible to get the bike out for a commute. Usually when it snows, it takes 24 hours for the few inches to disappear.

Get your winter supplies in, Ralf!

Just had the first frost last night here in Sussex. Still fine for comfortable riding.

Poor Central Europeans with their pitifully short riding season.
They should move to Scandinavia where the season continues. Did 230km today in balmy 5 C (that's 40 F for the metrically challenged).
It didn't go below freezing last night so no danger of icy roads. A bit wet, some leaves and crap from tractors but quite nice all in all.
Warm and comfy thanks to my heated gear, only got cold when I stopped...

I thought all motorcycles in Finland ran spiked tires!  Wink

I think you're meant to go over the bridge. But well done for crossing the water anyway.

We are still getting nice sunny (though cold) days without rain here in Milan. Great time touring around, provided you get warm gloves Smile
