That link seems to land right in the middle of the thread.

Just out of curiosity, what's the goal?  Showing your support tranquilly?  Storming the castle with flaming torches?

Sorry about that.  Yes, it does land in the middle, but you can get to the front of that for the info.

It is for support.

I guess we will need a different ride for storming the castle with torches and stuff.   Bigsmile

I'll be there in spirit. Unfortunately riding to WI from Texas this weekend isn't a possibility.

I was thinking of flying in and driving to the factory.  Round trip flights can be found for $265 from Philthy-delphia with one stop.  Also, the Extended Stay in Wauwatosa is $60.  Rent an economy car and you are easily under $400 including food.

Its 2k miles for me.  Quite expensive in gas if I drive and don't have the time to take a few days off of work to ride there.

I'm trying my hardest to convince the wife this is the right thing to do.  The Buell family built two bikes I absolutely love.

She recommended to start a Paypal account for those who would like to give a little for the workers.  Also, people who cannot make Monday's event can help out too.

Hope they get a lot of TV coverage and pique the interest of some big investor types.  Smile  Gotta love those grassroot movements and what they can do. Thumbsup Good luck.

Eric had a company that had tube bikes that self destructed.  It was the Harley $$$$ that brought the XB bikes to market.

Who is to blame for the 1125 mess????? sure likes like it falls on Buells shoulders to me.   Harley owns the goods. If they had a different leadership at Buell when Rotax was added to the XB bikes it should have owned the market.  If anything bring back the bikes with New Management names etc as Harley sport bikes.  When the 08 Buells started to pile up, that should have been a warning sign so Harley has blame for not minding their investment.  HUGE changes were needed and fast.
