The 07's come with bags (nice) Does take some getting used to.

No rain cover that is a picture of the bike after about 1 hour out of the crate and it was not fully ready for me to start my journey.

Trev just PM me and I am there I did about 60 miles today 38 degrees. We have to set our time up at Rockaway Mall. I just reserved my room and you?

I just rode most of the route from Pittsburgh to Clearfield (made it to Curwensville) and the roads are fine. 286 is a little bumpier than last year, but no biggie.

Good deal, I'm glad you're all healed up.  Do you still live in Ohio?  I'm headed up on Saturday and will be at the Days Inn too.  I look forward to seeing you again.

It's offical im in! I have my reservation made at the Day's in. I did't get to chat with many people last year due to the long wait for our food and the need to get back home. So im looking forward to pounding back a few with everyone Saturday night.

I've got my route pretty much planned. If anyone has any good roads around the area please let me know. The only for sure planned stop I have is at Kinzua Dam.

I'm leaving from the meet-n-eat on Sunday to head down to Tennessee for a few days of riding with some buds from out of town. I'm looking forward to both parts of this trip!

Allan: don't miss the Longhouse Scenic Byway off 59 when you're up near Kinzua Dam. It's a right turn just past waypoint 4 on your map. It runs south along the western edge of the lake. It connects to 321 which will take you south to Kane or back north along the lake to 59. Also take the small loop off the Longhouse Byway to Jakes Rocks.

For anyone wanting to make a full day out of it, here is a nice 150 mile loop you can do after lunch before riding home. It's a rather remote loop, so start with a full tank and refill in Renovo (small Texaco or something in town).

879 north of Clearfield to almost Karthaus
Straight onto Quehanna Hwy when 879 turns right at Karthaus. Follow to end at Medix Run/555
Right onto 555 in Medix Run. Follow to end in Driftwood/120
Right onto 120 east follow to Renovo (gas available)
Right on 144 south. Follow to jct 53 near Snowshoe
Right on 53 south. Follow to jct I-80
I-80 west back to Clearfield (13 miles of slab)

If it's a nice day, continue past Renovo on 120 to Hyner View State Park and ride up to the overlook. Great view. I believe there is a brown state park sign on 120 where you turn left to go to the park. Then double back to Renovo and pick up 144. Adds 24 miles total to the trip.

Hi Garry & All—just made a reservation at the Days Inn. Barring pouring rain, I'll be there! Holly plans to ride too if it's not too cold. (And if she doesn't come, I'll have an extra bed for someone if needed.)

Looking forward to it!  Thumbsup

Scott

PS - If anyone wants to ride up together from the Northern VA/Eastern Panhandle/Maryland area on Saturday, PM me and maybe we can connect.

Slowduc, you get the OK from HQ yet?  Bigok

If so we'll have to ride up together again (maybe get you home sooner this time!)  Thumbsup

Hey JJ! I just noticed that you're planning to go too—Holly and I'd be up for riding with you and SlowDuc (if you can stand our slow butts, LOL). It'll be good to see you again!

I'm planning on riding up Saturday, and heading for home (southern NJ) after lunch on Sunday.  I know there aren't any plans set in stone, but how do you folks see this event going?

Do lots of folks meet up at the Days Inn on Saturday?

Do groups get together for rides Saturday afternoon, Sunday before lunch, anything?

No plans?

I'd love to head out with a small group for some Tioga area riding.

Thanks!
