Are we finally going to get a Guzzi sport bike?

Take a look at this on the Guzzi home website. It looks like they may be bringing a prototype to EICMA.

Personally, my wish would be for a street legal MGS-01 clone. This does look promising....

There's no need to add the words 'sport bike' to the end of 'Guzzi'.

It's like saying 'Ferrari Ferrari'....

No, saying oxymoron oxymoron would be correct in this instance.  As it creates a positive.

And as we all know, Moto Guzzi is nothing but positives.

The entire thing looks like a Griso that someone photo chopped sport bike bodywork onto...

Fake.

Milan Show: Is this the new Guzzi Le Mans?

Moto Guzzi look set to unveil a brand new concept bike at the Milan Show, which could pave the way for an all-new version of its legendary Le Mans.

These teaser images of design sketches of the machine have just been posted on the Moto Guzzi website (www.motoguzzi.it) and announce that “A revolutionary new machine designed by ex-Ducati designer Pierre Terrblanche will be unveiled at the Milan Show this Thursday”. The images clearly show an aggressive, sports orientated machine in traditional Moto Guzzi livery and using the Mandello marque’s trademark, across-the-frame V-twin.

In addition, MCN has learnt that the new concept machine is codenamed the ‘V12-LM’ by the factory, with the V12 element obviously referring to Guzzi’s current 1200cc V-twin engine.

Does the ‘LM’ part stand for Le Mans? So reviving Guzzi’s most iconic machine which, in original 850cc guise, was one of the most desireable sports bikes of the 1970s and finally went out of production, except for a brief revival as a rebadged V11, way back in the early 1990s...

Interesting.

Not sure if it's my cup of tea.

It looks like Guzzi's take on the Ducati Monster with supermotard flavoring...a city bike, if you will.

I woulda been happy if they had put the V12 engine into the V7 cafe bike  Smile

Is this it?   Headscratch  It looks more standard, or sumo-supermoto, then sportbike...

Definitely a Motard.

It wouldn't be hard to drop a little shorty sport fairing and a set of clip ons on it though....
