I am leaving Conyers GA early for a ride to Unicoi State Park for breakfast, then head north exploring roads on a new map I bought. Could be fraught with challenging roads, unseen by this ST rider. Overnight stay a possibility if I get too far from home to make it back before 10pm. The S.O. takes a dim view of night riding due to deer and other critters straying across the roads.

Any takers?

If you had gone on Tuesday or Wednesday I could have made it. You can't be far from me so maybe we can get a ride in some other time. Have fun.

Sounds like a fun ride.

Unfortunately, I can't take Friday off this week -- still catching up on stuff that needed attention while I was on vacation.  Best I could possibly manage is to leave around 3, and it's still a 90 - 120 minutes before I could reasonably hope to be in the mountains, and almost just in time for sunset.   Smile

I'll be at Unicoi Lodge for the excellent breakfast around 7am.

You live in Conyers, but you're going to be at Unicoi Lodge by 7 for breakfast.

Oh, yeah.  Now I remember (from a previous post):  You're the guy who when he says "early," means some gawdawful hour well before I normally am even awake.  Smile

Leaving early means no traffic, and all the food is f-r-e-s-h when I get to Unicoi. And the squids aren't up yet either!
Bye........

It means riding in the dark, right?

How was the ride?  I was tempted to join you but had too many todos for the day.
