4 zeros and 2 ones

new tag Any VW

4 zeroes and 2 ones WHERE? can you get a better pic? from the blur i see there, it looks more like a 200somethingsomething.
i am SURE you were not trying to use both the regular odo and the trip odo combined.

Well, crap...  There goes my motivation.  All I'd have to do now is push a bike from one garage to the other and get my wife's car in the picture.  No fun in that.

Lol  Same here, I could push the bike out to the driveway and get my 72 Super Beetle in the shot.  But I'd rather ride down to Elizabeth City, NC where there's a VW shop with more dead bugs than you can shake a stick at.

I went out to check the odometers on the bikes.  The Hayabusa is a couple hundred miles from 40,000.  Alyce's bike is nowhere close to any interesting patterns.  The "other" bike has 26292 on the clock.

Phototag voyeurism is about all I get to do...   Thumbsdown

I'm glad I didn't stop at the amusement park when I was just out on an errand just now - it was only 10 minutes away, but I would've been bruce'd!

I'm not sure whether sodapop's odometer reading was accepted by bikerfish, so I submit mine, which happens to have four 2's right now.

Our VW van is at the shop getting expensive repairs, imagine that. Sad

I am fine with the VW tag being next.  It seems like there was some confusion on bikerfish's specifications - he only called out the speedometer. Shrug

I would suggest we try to stick with the tag format of your bike plus another subject.

unless you wish to take my vote away, i say it belongs to Rincewind.
if i had combined my trip odo, i could have stuck you guys bad. i had a dead on copy, so that when i was at 077077 (yes, 77 + thou) i was also on 077 for the trip odo. that could have been 6 of the same number- too exacting.

and i would not even need to roll my TDI out of the garage- it sits in the driveway, as the 2 car garage has been converted into a 6 bike habitat.

My Hayabusa isn't running today so I wouldn't go out unless it was a picture of a motorcycle in front of my garage.

I'm going to the the parts store to pick up or order a battery today.  This Hayabusa goes through a lot of batteries...   Thumbsdown

are you using a battery tender?

i'm ending year 5 of service on my Odyssey battery, still working fine. gets hooked up to the BT anytime it sits for more than a week.

Nope, it's a commuter bike and never sits for very long so I've been under the impression that I didn't need a tender but I think I'm going to rethink that idea...

are you running many farkles? For a few years, my Odyssey would go "limp" if not on the BT, and i had multiple power leads tied to the battery (HIDs, radar, etc). Hooked up a Centech last winter, and saw an immediate increase in length of time bike could sit without needing BT.

so what's the next tag (just trying to keep this from looking like a hijacking)?

I recommend the battery tenders, too.

Anyway here is the next one.  Tank tag. You're it.

No farkles at all.  I do turn it on and off a lot so maybe that's it.  I found a replacement with more cold cranking amps.  I KNOW where to find a tank to take a picture of, too, dammit!!!

Time to go hang Christmas lights.
