I actually just found this thread.   Headscratch

I'd like to join in on the fun.  There's a dead mall on my way home from work.  If mrsticky's tag isn't acceptable I can get it tomorrow.

Welcome to the fun! We're moving on from the Dead Mall. Mr Sticky will have a new tag up soon!

New Wild Card Tag. A MX track.
Edit 9-6:  It can be any facility where 2 wheeled bikes compete or play.  Motor or pedaled powered.  Dirt or pavement.  It can be the sign for the place or the track itself.

The Pros are racing here this weekend.

Are there not many people playing this anymore or are there not many motocross tracks around?   Headscratch

I don't have one remotely around me or I'd tag it.

I've been super busy lately.  However, there are no motocross tracks within a bajillion miles.  There is an amateur one that's for kids nearby.

Amateur for kids would be fine.  Tag edited in the interest of keeping it moving.

I know this is a long shot but I went out for a short ride this morning & remembered this bicycle track.  Its a track around Lake Hartwell Dam.  Its a place people can go ride or take their families & ride or walk around the dam.  I didn't see any bicycles today but you can ride a bicycle on this track.  There are some off road trails also but I don't think the Corp of Engineers would appreciate me lugging this C-14 down the bicycle paths.

If it doesn't count, then no big deal.  I'll share the photos anyway.

New tag is a school.  Any school will do. Watch out for the kiddies Drool

New tag is a theme not really a specific picture.  Find something that you're able to tie to a movie.  It can be anything etc...a celebrity, a specific place in a movie or if you're a celebrity take a pic of you & your bike.  If someone can't find something within 24 hrs, then I'll take a movie theatre.

When I went for a school, I immediately thought of T.L. Hanna High School b/c it was featured in the movie Radio with Cuba Gooding Jr.

I hope its not against the rules, but I rode down the road & got a pic of the football stadium at T.L. Hanna High school.  Basicly, my grab & tag came from the same location but its not the same tag.  If I knew where Radio was today, I'd ride over there & get his pic with my bike, but the football stadium will have to do.

I did pass about 1/2 dozen schools on the way to Hanna.

The Baker Hotel.  Popular when it was open in the late 20 early 30s for movie actors and the like.  Even visited by Bonnie and Clyde at one point  Thumbsup  There is currently money and what not trading hands for a possible major renovation.

On the last link click the "celebrity" link on the left sidebar to see a list of historic celebrities to stayed at the Baker.

Let me know if this counts and I'll get a new tag.

That's funny, because the tag I had a few tags ago about " humorous, oddly worded or otherwise peculiar community sign" was of a sign in my hometown of Griffin, Georgia that says "If You Hit This Sign, You Will Hit That Bridge". That sign is clearly seen for a second or two in the movie "The Fighting Temptations", which was shot in and around Griffin, and starred...Cuba Gooding Jr.!

I would say I got bruced for the MX track, but the only one I knew of has evidently been closed for awhile:
