maybe a moderator can move this into the region 2 forum, rather than the region 1 forum.

Go ahead and move it to Region 2 but keep the original here. Texas might need a temporary influx of Region 1 members.

It would be fun.

Nice!, but not enough vacation time for me. One of these years, I gotta get down to Texas, but reserving a couple weeks vacation for another Canuck run. Jeez, I feel like a traitor, and I'm sure you've got some nice roads down there in Hill Country. Only problem for a guy like me is there's a hell of a lot of Highway riding for the short-route which is like 2,600 miles RT just to get there and back. I'm just not an Iron-Butt sort of rider. Though there's a lot of good roads to work in a long route over many more days than I have in my vacation bank....

While the hill country roads are great (337 almost makes you feel like yer in Cali), for me, the Ft. Davis and Big Bend areas are the best.

Vast, beautiful, desert wilderness  Inlove

but, yah...when you already live in motorcycling Nirvana...  Bigsmile although, you could mix it in with a trip encompassing Big Bend, New Mexico, southwestern Colorado and southern Utah  Smile

Dude this meet is so far from Region 1 is isn't funny.  I'm tired of seeing it in region 1.
