They also work fine from inside the Givi top cases.

It really goes through the plastic that well? That's great news! I hadn't thought of that; mine didn't work once inside the clear tankbag cover...

I'm going to try it though, instead of grabbing it out of my pocket and holding carefully with my left hand on the clutch...

Sullybusa told me about it, that it works for him.

Becareful with that.  Some states including MD are starting to add a $25 service fee even if you have a valid ezpass account.

The extra fee is only 1.50 if I don't have my EZPass with me through the Harbor and/or Ft. McHenry Tunnel(s). I use mine for the car and bike. I just pull it out of the pocket on the Concours and hold it up. I was also told there's no Moto specific tag although they do have a license plate bracket that (I think) can be used for bikes. I haven't tried yet.
I was using my EZ Pass with my Magna for a month or so (before it got cooler) with no issues. Tank bag map pocket like others do. I haven't registered my Magna yet. I'm sure if I set off the alarm and/or it doesn't "zing" correctly the fine would go up!

I believe that the moto one is more waterproof than the auto one.

It will also work from a forward facing jacket pocket or aerostich sleeve pocket. Just roll through nice and slow.

What I do> EZPass for Moto

If the toll road doesn't have gates - NJ is one

I don't bring it out - if the camera reads ur plate - it will charge U automatically - if it dont free toll Smile

+1. I don't even know where my tag is anymore. My wife's car, maybe? The PA toll on 78 is the only one I know of that's a gate. I hand the takers a dollar and usually wind up dropping the extra quarter on the ground. Otherwise I just tool around, and make sure all 4 of my vehicles' plates are entered on the web site.

And if I forget? A summons with a handy form on the back shows up: "Want to avoid the penalty? Fill out this form with your vehicle information, and we'll add it to your account."
